Challenge Orthodoxy

Innovator, Builder

Welcome to my website (socials on the side panel). It is a decentralized static React application deployed on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). It is also available in the Ethereum Name Service (down for maintenance). You can learn more about me in the sections below (and can navigate using the side panel). Enjoy the rest of the site!

There is nothing impossible for those who will try.

Engineer, Scientist, Entrepreneur, Inventor

I'm a Pre-Doctoral Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, Department of Biomedical Informatics, advised by Professor Marinka Zitnik. I completed my S.B. at MIT, where I was co-advised by Justin Solomon (MIT CSAIL) and Moon Duchin (Tufts Math) to develop metric geometry models and data science algorithms for assessing fairness in political redistricting as part of an informal collective called the Metric Geometry and Gerrymandering Group, now the MGGG Redistricting Lab (mggg.org). Before starting at HMS, I was a software engineer at Pinterest focused on data science, data engineering, and machine learning. I also launched two companies in the blockchain and drugAI spaces and took on senior ML roles at companies like Cruise.

My research at HMS lies at the intersection of medicine and AI. I've developed software for predicting cellular responses to novel drug-based and CRISPR perturbations at single-cell resolution. I've also worked on developing LLM agents for numerous therapeutic tasks. The focus of my work has been on multimodal foundations for therapeutic AI. I've led the development of the newest release of the Therapeutic Commons (tdcommons.ai). It is designed to catalyze research in multimodal models for drug discovery. It combines single-cell biology, biochemistry, and drug effects through multimodal datasets, AI-powered API endpoints, new tasks, model frameworks, and benchmarks.

Outside of work I enjoy several physical challenges and outdoors activities including hiking, the gym, and indoor bouldering (new). I've competed in numerous Spartan Races. I dabble in BJJ/MMA and Swimming. I also enjoy learning about Art, Science, and Technology. I'm learning several new languages: Chinese, French, German at the moment. I also enjoy music and the performative arts and would always consider a trip to a poetry slam, standup comedy, the Boston Symphony and others!
